I have been doing this service for a number of years. Every cake that I have made, I am todl that my cakes are very moist and delicious. I have also heard many times that many of the bakery shops cakes are dry and not very tasty I love to be able to be creative....I have always been artistic and this job gives me that outlet that I crave.

I ordered a Batman cake for my son's 5th birthday the work on that cake was fantastic could not ask for more. And the owner was so professional and the price for her work is unbeatable. I even had people come up to me at the bowling alley and say that's the best cake they ever seen.

Cate did a wonderful job with our wedding day cake and cupcakes. All of them looked and tasted WONDERFUL! They were a hit! We ate the cupcakes, and ended up keeping our entire cake to freeze (besides the small piece we cut out during our cake cutting). The cake was exactly what we wanted and more, and she worked with us to match the frosting on our cupcakes to what our wedding colors were!

This cake was for my daughter’s first birthday, and unfortunately I don’t currently live in Minnesota so all the planning was done out of state. The cake was beautiful, way better than I ever imagined and was just as delicious. I am so pleased with the job she did, and how helpful she was since I was out of state the entire planning process.

The cake was beautifully done and so tasty! Cate was very nice and great to work with. I shopped around for awhile before coming across Tastefully Done Cakes and can tell you, you won't find a better price for a high quality cake. Thanks Cate!

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always been artistic but was never sure how to make a career out of that skill. I took some classes, started to make cakes and I was hooked!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The more detailed that you are about what you want the more likely, I will be able to do it exactly the way you want it. Always send me pictures of the design that you have in mind.
