Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Hi there! I'm a craft cocktail lover with a mixology certification from the MN school of bartending. I truly enjoy creating fine and instagrammable cocktails for other people as a hobby, and I figured freelance bartending would be perfect as a side gig. So why should you hire me? 1) I care about the drinks that I serve. Each recipe goes through intensive research as well as multiple rounds of taste tests by my friends and family. I also have high standards for presentation. 2) I'm communicative, open to feedback and generally flexible. I'm here to make you have a good experience. When you have fun, I have fun. 3) My specialty is craft cocktails, and I would LOVE to help you pick out a drink menu for your party, including brand recommendation based on your budget. I can even give you a detailed shopping list too, including where to get what in the Minneapolis area. It's "Bean Counter" because I'm an accountant by trade 😁. Pronouns: He/Him/His Se habla español. Tôi nói tiếng Việt.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

There's a retainer fee (included in estimate) due when the service agreement is signed by both parties, and the final fee will be based on hourly labor and due after the event. The pricing chart on Thumbtack is for one bartender only.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I was an external auditor at Deloitte and that was a busy job. When I switched to Wells Fargo in June 2020 to work in IT risk management, the job freed up a lot of my life schedule and I thought I could finally get a hobby. That's when I decided to go to Bartending school and try something different.

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I bartended at a private Halloween party with a Holliwood theme. I consulted the host on making a drink menu and gave them a thorough shopping list 2 weeks before the event. The day of, I arrived 1 hour earlier than serving time to prepare and set up. The preparation definitely helped everything go smoothly and I was happy with the flow.
