Amanda catered a weekend "girls getaway" for myself and 4 other ladies. As we waited for everyone to arrive, we were served unlimited "Salty Dogs", a refreshing lemonade based cocktail, along with chips, homemade bean dip, and guacamole. Cocktails and appetizers were followed by a dinner of spicy pork stew served over southwestern waffles with the "fixins" guac, salsa and sour cream. On the next evening we were served a dinner of marinated and grilled salmon and pineapple with parmesan asparagus. The second night after dinner, we visited the local bars for drinks and when we returned, we had an "after the bar" snack of Nachos. This snack reused some of the same menu items from the previous days meals.(Smart planning!) Before leaving on Sunday, we were served a southwestern brunch with baked eggs and fresh fruit. There were desserts with the meals and the food was all delicious. We were sent on out way with leftovers too. The whole weekend was very relaxing and enjoyable with Mandy taking care of the food for us.
Mandy is a very calm and organized planner and a wonderful cook and baker. Also, she is very easy to work with and dependable. I would recommend her services to anyone who has a party or get together coming up or even just for a night off of cooking. You will be able to relax and enjoy your guests and leave the food prep to her. I promise you will not be disappointed!

Amanda created my wedding cupcakes, and they were beautiful! This was a same-gender wedding and a full church wedding too with all the traditional trappings: flowers, attendants, music, lunch, a jazz band, photographers (two!). And we wanted the cake to be special as well. Cupcakes were a great solution. Our colors were purple, white and black (it was October) and Mandy came up with a full color scheme that I would never have thought of and coordinated nicely with the spectacular fall colors -- the church had lots of full-size, non-stained glass windows. They looked gorgeous on several tiered holders, and they were the perfect treat for adults and for little children (it was a kid-friendly affair!)

I've eaten everything from casual family meals and snacks to gourmet dinners and desserts from this wonderful woman's kitchen. Mandy has a real passion and gift with food. When she cooks or bakes for you it doesnt just taste good, it nourishes and satisfies your soul. She is hard working, creative, honest, professional and a perfectionist! What she doesn't know about food isn't worth knowing! Hire her, you won't regret it.
