FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically serve a small radius from my home. I provide labor, general tooling and skills. I do not generally provide large tooling or materials. Material assets will be chosen and provided by the customer and, those needed assets that emerge during the process, will be provided via direct customer allocation or by delivery. All materials are purchased customer direct and any leftover assets are property of the main stakeholder. In rare occurance where I have materials to offer, a price agreement will be met and invoice provided.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I expect some initial time and a conversation, usually accompanied by a cup of coffee and a handshake. I am above all else, a gentleman. I like to set expectations and alleviate the fears of working with unknown variables. I expect a lot of questions and concerns about the time line, costs and final decisions. I will have many of my own questions and ideas. If nothing else, an informative and informal chat.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My background is in electrtical and mechanical engineering with emphasis in computer science and materials management. I was a General builder in Minneapolis alongside my friend, specializing in repair and remodeling existing structures with attn to the characteristics of the original architecture.
