FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I strive to price my work as fairly as possible. My background as a production finish carpenter has taught me to work efficiently while still keeping an eye on details. In an effort to provide the fairest price for my customers I work on a time and materials basis. Instead of giving a lump sum bid which always includes a large mark up, I charge only what the project cost. My labor rate is $75/hr and I have a minimum charge of $300
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically I like to see some pictures of the job/space. I like to also discuss budget and the level of quality they are looking for early on to ensure that we'll be a good fit. If there are design decisions to be made I am able to assist in that process, whether its selecting materials or coming up with CAD drawings and plans to work off of. From there I like to talk with the client about what their schedule is like and how I can work within that schedule in the easiest way.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Completed formal Apprenticeship Training through Carpenters Union
