I was looking for help gaining some dancing skills for my daughters upcoming wedding particularly the father/daughter dance. Jess did a great job helping me get comfortable with dancing and showing me some different steps and choreographed some moves for me. She was personable and patient and obviously had skills above what I needed. She did a great job for me and I highly recommend her.

RE: Private dance technique classes. My 8 year old daughter and I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Jess this year. From the minute we met her she was very warm and inviting, my daughter was immediately comfortable working with her. Jess has a great balance of providing constructive corrections with ease and in a way that adds value. Jess has embraced my daughters love for competitive dance. She has taken the time to provide lesson plans that include stretching and strength training to across the floor technique that my daughter could work on outside of the time in the studio. Jess has even choreographed short routines to help my daughter feel more comfortable catching on to choreography. She is constantly thinking of new ways to help my daughter excel. She is very timely with her responses to communications and provides immediate feedback on how well the session went and what to work on for the next. The only downfall I can think of is the drive to see her, but she is worth it!! We were so lucky to have had her respond to our request on Thumbtack. We’ll be sticking with her throughout the next competitive year.  Thank you Jess for all you do, your time, patience but most of all charismatic sweet personality!

My father and I had such a wonderful experience working with Jess! She choreographed our father-daughter dance for my wedding in August, so we met with her various times throughout the summer leading up to the wedding to learn the dance and practice. She made the practices fun and special, and it was an experience my father and I will always remember. As excited as we were to show off our new dance moves for the wedding, we were a little sad when the dance practices ended! She was very flexible and accommodating to our requests, and reasonably priced. We couldn't have been happier with our choice, she's an amazing choreographer!

Jess worked with my middle school 7/8th grade girls show choir at St. Francis Middle School. We scheduled several Saturday practices for 3 hrs at a time to teach the girls choreography that fit the songs that they were singing for show choir competitions. What impressed me the most about Jess is that she listened to what I wanted for my girls and worked very well with them too. Teaching choreography to a group that also sings is a much higher level of positioning because you need to make sure that the moves do not interfere with the singing and projection of sound that the girls needed to have while dancing. Since show choir was something new for Jess, she was always willing to look at videos to get an idea of what kind of moves other show choirs were doing and then she would create on her own for our show. Jess went above and beyond and was always willing to give extra if need be. She is very prompt and was able to keep middle school girls on task with exciting moves and layering as well. With Jess being our choreographer, she took the level of dancing to a much higher level then the previous group which was not under her teaching. Overall the girls and myself were very happy with what Jess brought to the table. My girls loved having her as their choreographer and learned a lot about the quality of dancing on stage! I would highly recommend Jess to any group that is looking for a choreographer that has a lot of creative moves to enhance their program.
