A one and a half week job took three months to complete. Most days that he said he would show up and I arranged to be home he did not come. There is a big gap under the door he framed that icy air comes in through. The manner in which he re-wrapped the aluminum on my front porch makes no sense... water comes into the interior and leaks out with stains from my old cedar wood. If my porch is not wrapped correctly, the wood will rot out. There is no excuse for how he did this work. He has not returned phone calls and has not returned to fix things. He broke two parts of my screen door.Apr 12, 2014VerifiedPaul P.'s reply
I would gladly meet with Salina and any building official to look over her job. If any defects are found they will be corrected. She was happy with the work when finished and paid me in full but now doesn't seem to like any thing that was done. I have been in business for over 40 years and my work and quality speaks for itself. Time will tell on this job. I called Salina to talk to her about this complaint and eventually had to hang up ------- unreasonable ---- I guess the old saying that you cant please them all fits here. Tried my best
Paul installed the door for us and the job was well done.Feb 11, 2014Verified
Paul is a great guy, and very efficient. He came over on a Sunday late afternoon (which I really appreciated) and removed some snow on a satellite dish that was pretty high on the roof. I Would highly recommend him to anyone as he clearly has tons of experience!Dec 9, 2013Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? We do a lot of insurance repair work and it requires using the industry wide Exactimate estimating program. This uses a price system that is constantly updated by zip code to be as close to the actual real world as can be. Fairly complicated and even has a sketch program that lets you draw out most projects and even shows in 3D.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Every year for over the past 20 years I have done the required contractors 8 hours of education - some energy related some safety and lots of construction know how and related updates to the industry. Also extra classes to get lead paint certified with the EPA.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?Look for a seasoned professional to get a quality job and will stand behind all the work. Quality first and then pricing
