- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing reflects the convenience, reliability, and personalized attention of our mobile grooming, dog walking, pet sitting, and boarding services. For mobile grooming, we come directly to your home and groom your pet one-on-one in our fully equipped mobile salon. Luxury baths start at $109 and full-service grooms start at $119. Both include nail trimming and ear cleaning. Final grooming pricing depends on your pet’s breed, size, coat condition, grooming needs, and the time required. A destination fee may apply depending on your location. Dog walking and pet sitting are customized around your pet’s routine and your family’s needs. As an example, a standard 30-minute dog walking or pet sitting visit starts at $40. Pricing may vary based on visit length, frequency, number of pets, and the type of care needed. For overnight care, our Bed & Biscuit service, where your pet stays in the home of one of our pet-care professionals, starts at $109 per night. In-home overnight pet sitting, where we stay with your pets in the comfort of their own home, also starts at $109 per night. We believe in transparent pricing and will discuss expected costs before services begin. We also periodically offer promotions for new customers and special events. Across all of our services, our focus is quality over quantity. Whether we’re grooming your dog, taking them for a walk, visiting them while you’re away, or providing overnight care, we provide individualized attention, dependable communication, and care tailored to your pet.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Getting started is easy. We begin by learning about your pet, including breed, size, temperament, routine, activity level, grooming history, and any special needs or preferences. Once we understand what your pet needs, we’ll recommend the appropriate service, explain pricing, and coordinate a schedule that works for you. For mobile grooming, your groomer will meet with you before the appointment to review the desired cut and any concerns. Your pet is then groomed one-on-one in our fully equipped mobile grooming salon right outside your home. For dog walking and pet sitting, we provide a free in-home consultation. We will review your pet’s normal routine, feeding instructions, exercise needs, medications when applicable, behavioral considerations, and home-care instructions. We work to keep your pet’s routine as familiar and consistent as possible while you’re away or unavailable. After each service, we keep you informed about how your pet did and address any questions or concerns. We can also help establish a recurring grooming, walking, or pet-care schedule based on your pet’s individual needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team includes experienced professional groomers as well as pet-care professionals providing dog walking, pet sitting, and Bed & Biscuit boarding. Our groomers have hands-on experience working with dogs of different breeds, coat types, temperaments, and grooming needs. Our pet-care team is trained to follow each pet’s individual routine, including feeding instructions, exercise needs, behavioral considerations, medications when applicable, and household preferences. In addition to individual experience, every Woofie’s team member completes required training and follows established Woofie’s procedures and service standards for the services they provide. These procedures are designed to promote consistency, safety, clear communication, proper pet handling, and a high standard of care across grooming, dog walking, pet sitting, and boarding.
