I have had massages from Mela for years and she is fantastic. Not only have I been to her for great massage work, but I have even gone to Mela to fix poor massages from others that left me sore and uncomfortable. I received a massage from Mela earlier this week, and the results are still with me! Our meeting began with a discussion of not only physical concerns, but their energetic connections as well. As a healer and massage therapist, Mela was able to explain her process in a manner that helped me feel supported and well received. During the session, Mela incorporated cranial sacral massage as well, helping to release any tension that rose during the massage. Afterwords, I felt a tremendous opening of my heart space, and would recommend her services looking for quality, compassionate body and energetic work.

Mela takes massage therapy to a different level! During my session with her she incorporated a chakra analysis and focused on those specific energies during her crafty handwork. I came in with typical student ailments: sore neck, shoulders, and upper back...and she was able to reach deeply into areas where there was a lot of stress and tightness. Mela was on time with the appointment, the room was very comfortable and the massage table was warm and very relaxing.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Cranio-Sacral Therapy is a modality I've been certified in the past 2 years. I took extra training in Transformational Healing, which is about tuning into the body to release emotional baggage.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I operate slowly, really listening to the body. I'm very intentional in my work, and my customers love how customized my healing sessions are.
