Saulaman was very proficient in measuring and hung the picture perfectly/
He covered the old nail holes from previous picturer so it was not at all visible
He was very helpful and I could not be happier.

Saulaman and Leo were very friendly and kind, and did a professional, accurate, and quality job hanging a large piece in the stairway. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was completed beautifully and to my satisfaction.
The responsiveness to the original request, via Thumbtack, and texts, once we booked them, was immediate and thorough. I highly recommend SSAS!
Leo and Saulaman were excellent to work with. From start to finish, they made the entire process easy and enjoyable. They took the time to suggest ideal placement and height for my artwork, and their expertise was clear. Even though they work on large-scale installations, they treated my project with the same level of care and importance. The end result looks fantastic, and the experience exceeded my expectations.

Highly recommend Saulaman and Leo! They helped me hang a large painting and a large mirror, and the execution was perfect. They are very professional, careful with the items, and a pleasure to work with. I really appreciate their thoughtful approach to the project.
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a $100 minimum for the first hour of work. This includes consultation on placement, art hanging hardware, and local travel to sites within the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area. Every hour following is billed at $65 per hour billed in 15 minute increments.
Additional Fees & Considerations:
– Ladder work or scaffolding on stairs will include an hourly $35 surcharge.
– Sites beyond a 20 minute drive from base are subject to a travel fee depending on distance.
– Oversized artwork or artwork that is going especially high may require 2 installers for the safety of both installers and the artwork. Jobs requiring 2 installers are billed at $125 per hour with a $150 minimum for the first hour of work.
– I do not charge for any standard hardware. Additional charges may need to be considered if a piece requires specialty hardware, such as a metal or wooden cleat.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I would love to hear what the project is, and your desires for what we need to get done. Does the artwork have hanging hardware already attached to the back? Are we placing the pieces on wood, drywall, concrete, etc? Are heights a part of the project? These considerations might change the final price.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Not only have I worked with teams at the Walker Art Center, Minneapolis Institute of Art, and American Swedish Institute, I have also worked with art handlers in San Francisco, Chicago, and the upper Midwest, even spending a few months as an intern at the Art Institute of Chicago. One of my favorite experiences in this career is the 3-month internship I had at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice, Italy.
I have many more stories and experiences to detail, but I also think it's important to note here my work with local arts organizations, arts activism projects I have been a part of, my BFA in Visual Art, and my MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts.
