Introduction: Our goal at MEI is to provide high quality customer service, together with achieving the lowest possible post-mitigation test results. We provide this quality of service on every home by executing a thorough inspection of the homes basement area and performing pilot testing (if needed) to determine the airflow requirements underneath the slab. Often required is soil communication in order to deliver optimal radon reduction in the home.
I am passionate about owning my own business and helping customers with their radon mitigation issues. We guarantee our systems to reduce indoor radon concentrations to at least 2.5 pCi/L, short-term and sustained. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) risk-based action level for indoor radon is 4.0 pCi/L. The EPA also estimates that natural background outdoor radon levels are approximately on average 0.4 pCi/L. We can reduce some homes to under 0.5 pCi/L.
My professional background / career is environmental science. I began my career working for an engineering / consulting firm, after graduating college in 2005 with a bachelor’s in engineering. I traveled the United States, completing environmental work on vast, unique projects. Examples of these projects include EPA Superfund Sites, Florida wetlands / everglades, and US Army and Marine bases.
At MEI, EXCEPTIONAL customer service and low results are KEY.
