Andrew Halvorson

Introduction: My name is Andrew Halvorson, and I am a freelance audio engineer in the Twin Cities. I graduated from McNally Smith College of Music with a Bachelor of Science in Music Production. I still work at McNally as a staff member in the McKern Studio Complex where I help students with any issues and fix broken equipment. I've recorded, mixed and mastered artists in many genres, ranging from singer-songwriters to progressive rock bands. I also work as an assistant and staff engineer for The Hideaway Studios and do most of my freelance work there. Sitting in the studio, working with artists to make their record sound exactly how they wanted it to, is what I love to do. Making loud noises with my guitars, synths and pedals is pretty fun too.
