We hired Fancy Ray to officiate our wedding- best decision ever! Fancy Ray took time to meet with us and discuss our wedding vision and expectations in person- taking notes and really getting to know us. We were really impressed by him- VERY nice person, genuinely warm and caring- we knew he wanted our day to be just as perfect as we did. On the day of the wedding- he couldn't have been more perfect- on time, super upbeat, professional. We had a very causal wedding, in a garden, and he made it- like his slogan, full of love and laughter. It was everything we wanted. The best part was just how friendly and personable he is- everyone wanted a photo with him and he was very gracious. He stayed for our reception even!

I was so thrilled to have Fancy Ray officiate our wedding in Farmington, MN, September 7, 2013. After seeing a video a online of a different wedding he had done, I knew that he would be the perfect fit for our eclectic gathering. He arrived at the most appropriate moment and engaged our family and friends. Fancy spent time getting to know me and my love before the date and asked questions to help tailor his performance; which included my passion for dog shows and my husband's passion for grilling. Everyone talks about how their wedding was the best day ever, but stand back y'all! I had the wedding I didn't even know I could dream of. Fancy knocked it out of the park. He had everyone laughing and crying. He had our guests eating up every moment filled with the perfect blend of sentiment, celebration, and most of all fun! Our ceremony was filled with laughter, faith, and love all because of Fancy just bein' Fancy and doin' how he do. Even on our timeline of only a week, Fancy took the time to meet with us and plan a very personal and touching ceremony leaving room for no dull moment. He NAILED IT! We are forever grateful that God blessed us with Fancy to deliver on our special day. Thank you, Fancy! We love you!!!

First me say that I'm a wedding professional having been a DJ for 25 years and DJing over 1500 wedding receptions. I've seen the best and worst of weddings (except the DJ always was excellent) and when it came time for my own wedding, I wanted the best. My fiancé were listening to the Tom Barnard podcast and heard an interview with Tom and Fancy Ray. We looked at each other and said "wouldn't it be great if Fancy Ray would be our officiant". We called and booked him with no hesitation. Fancy Ray met with us prior to the wedding and we told him our story. He also asked us what degree of "Fancy" we wanted and we said we wanted the full throttle Fancy Ray. He delivered a service that was sincere, thoughtful, energetic (surprise) without being over the top or silly. Fancy Ray knocked it out of the park. We billed our event as #bogoepicwedding and we didn't disappoint, in part thanks to Fancy Ray. It was an epic wedding in the heart of the North Loop that our guests will never forget as the best wedding they have ever been to. Don't hesitate, book 'em.

if you want a professional, funny and amazing wedding experience fancy ray is your man! My wife and I were having trouble deciding on a wedding officiant and we didn't want a stuffy priest or someone we weren't connected to personally. When I found out fancy ray does weddings I was excited! I basically grew up watching his commercials and running into him on the beautiful streets of Minneapolis. Not to mention catching a couple of his hilarious stand up comedy routines. The only problem was my wife hadn't really heard of him. I showed her his youtube promo video and she loved it! Fancy met with us before the wedding to hash out the details and helped with the rehearsal. We asked him to recite a poem during the ceremony and it was perfect. He was professional, touching and hilarious at the same time. To sum it up I would recommend fancy ray to anyone looking to get married!
