- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically meet with the couple either before they decide to hire me, or soon after so we can get to know each other. I work with a number of example scripts and an outline to show the couple what a typical ceremony looks like. I then incorporate parts that they like from existing scripts and add that special touch that makes each wedding ceremony unique. If hired for the rehearsal, I will direct the wedding rehearsal helping the couple and their party get comfortable with the process of walking down the aisle and making sure everyone know what to do and when! I arrive about half an hour before the ceremony to be sure everything is in place and ready to go. I will conduct the personalized ceremony we designed. I will make sure the wedding certificate gets signed and file it with the county. if invited and it works with my schedule, I will stay for the reception dinner. I am happy to say a prayer if the couple would like that.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of my weddings are outdoors; parks, golf courses, back yards and the Renaissance Festival are all venues where I do a lot of weddings. If you are renting a church, hotel ballroom or event center, I am comfortable there too! The main things is that I am your partner in creating the wedding that you want!
