My daughter has loved taking piano lessons from James Chenevert. He's been extremely professional, very responsive to our scheduling needs, offers new songs that keep my daughter engaged, and is very positive and affirming during lessons, which is so important and motivating. All this for a very affordable price. We'd highly recommend him to anyone considering lessons. I trust my daughter will continue learning from him for a long time to come.

I am enjoying my piano lessons a great deal. James is helping me establish my own plan, learning at my own rate. He is always ready for me when I get to his house and has a beautiful grand piano that I enjoyed playing.

I have been taking lessons from Jim for about 6 months. He not only teaches how to play, he is also very good at explaining the concepts behind what he is teaching. He is an excellent piano teacher and I would highly recommend him to all - whether beginner or more accomplished player.

Jim is a great teacher with a very pleasant teaching style. I took piano lessons as a kid (forced by parents) and hesitantly decided to pick things back up as an adult. I'm in my 9th week. Jim is very patient and understanding of those hectic work weeks when there's not a lot of practice time in between lessons. We go at my own pace with no pressure to be perfect each week (I got that a lot as a kid) and I'm getting a lot out of each weekly lesson. I look forward to practicing on my own at home because the music selections are fun and well-known. I also think he's very reasonably priced too given his extensive musical background. It's a real bargain!
