- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our basic fine tuning fee for vertical and grand pianos is $140 We have very competitive prices for installation of Climate Control Systems, Moving pianos and organs, Previously owned pianos for sale, and all types of Repairs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At our initial contact, ideally phone, we'll gather information about your location and your concerns regarding your piano. We will then set up a time that is convenient for you to have a technician complete whatever you decided to do. We have multiple technicians available for all areas in the Twin Cities.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Steve Laursen, the founder and owner, has been tuning and caring for pianos for over 43 years. He has also trained his son and a team of talented technicians thru his one on one apprenticeship program. All of Laursen Piano Service technicians are expert at what they do and have many years of service with the company. The company has expanded from tuning and repair, to storage, sales and moving both locally and nationally. Satisfaction Guaranteed!
