We initially contacted Four Winds Dog training for several reasons, most importantly my very excitable and dominant dog had nipped the UPS man. He was also overly excited to greet people at the door. I also had concerns of him being around my young grandchild. The Shahar helped us learn and use several strategies, mostly praise and positive reinforcement. To help us deal with these problems. Most recently we are working on desensitizing him to having his paws touched and his nails clipped. Before this training we would have to have him sedated at the vet clinic and they would trim them there with the help of three vet Tech's to hold him. We are still in this process but currently I can touch his nails with the trimmer (the grinding type)while holding onto his paws. I would highly recommend Shahar because she is easy to work with, she is energetic , patient and is very good at what she does.
Ryan and Milo did a great job with our German shepherd. They handled every situation with our dog well, even when he was being difficult. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of dog training.
Rita was a perfect fit for us in her approach to training our puppy, George. She has given us so much valuable advice. We will continue to tap into her expertise even after our sessions are completed.
Lori Brown of Browns Dog Training, is a very unconventional trainer. Lori devotes her entire day and home to the animals she trains, boards, provides day care for and clearly is fulfilling her passion to animals. Our Hunter, loved staying with Lori for two weeks and was still happy to see us when we came to pick him up. Believe me, Lori is an excellent trainer and so passionate about her four legged family. I suggest you at least meet Lori. She is unconventional but fantastic with dogs. We will bring Hunter back just so he can see Lori again.
Jana and her team are very professional. My dog loves them, he's always happy to be back home but I never worry when they have him! I love the detailed notes they leave of what they did w/ my dog. I've referred one person to they already and I will continue to refer. Thanks @ Home Pet Care!!!!!
Crystal has single handedly been the very best decision we have made in training our puppy to become a reliable and well behaved dog. Her training techniques are intelligent and insightful. Do yourself a favor and invest the time and money to train you and your dog with Crystal.
I met Melissa today to discuss walking my 2 dogs. 1 dog was anxious & calmed down after a few minutes. The other dog immediately positively responded to Melissa. I think the dog walking will go well!
I hired Lindsay to work with my dog, Rocky, on basic obedience. He was very territorial of parts of the house and needed work with some basic commands. Lindsay showed me how to communicate better with Rocky. I now know what he needs from me in order to feel safe and this has had a huge impact on his behavior. Lindsay uses positive reinforcement and counter-conditioning. She keeps the dog feeling safe and positive, showing him what he should be doing instead of what he should not be doing. She uses treats to get her points across to the dog. She does not use bark or shock collars or anything that would make the dog feel uncomfortable. I am very happy with my experience so far, and will continue using Kinney K9 Academy.
Ashley is incredible at what she does! She has been such a huge help to me and my pups. She has shared so many resources and lots of valuable knowledge with me. I don't know where my dogs and I would be without her! If you need a truly skilled dog trainer, nobody does it better than Ashley!
The most caring and sensitive trainer I know!! All Positive she really loves animals and it shows! I Really think she could train a mosquito if she tried!
I love Alpha Dog Care, but more importantly my dog Howie LOVES Mary. We live in the neighborhood and walk by her house every day. If Howie notices any activity over at "Marys", he has to go over and get his attention from her. Howie is a "jumper" so I was a little nervous about leaving him with anyone. Mary had it all under control. She definitely has the heart for the dogs....they all seem to love her. Her house is set up with the dogs in mind....,the dogs are even allowed on the furniture. Howie liked getting a walk every day in addition to other activities.....such as story time and popcorn time ( if their humans allow it) I chose an " in her home" doggy care like Alpha Dog Care because Howie is such a social guy and would've been sad/bored with limited social interaction....somebody was there 24/7 which made me alot more comfortable!
Loved them. Staff was friendly, asked great question and my dog looked perfect. I will be using them again!
Diana is faithful in walking my dogs and treats them as individuals. She loves dogs! Her husband is even a back up.
Hi, there! Animals are my passion and my career. I have my degree in animal science with specialization in nutrition, health, and animal behavior/training from the University of Minnesota. I have worked at a vet clinic for three years during college. I have experienced working at PetSmart for over a year as a groomer and in sales in guiding new pet parents along their exciting new journey. I also gained experience in caring for reptiles, avian animals, and small mammals for those clients looking for care for other pets at home. During my last two years in high school, I worked at a pet resort and excelled in daycare and boarding services. I just graduated from college and have a lot of energy and TLC to give to your pet, and I hope you consider me for your next pet sitter. Please feel free to text/call my cell, or contact me via my email as well; I will return your call/email very promptly. I am available overnights and have a very flexible schedule.
Every dog is treated like it is a member of my family.
I will take dogs out on walks, feed them, stay with them, and much more. I will stay with them, or they can come over to my house.

I genuinely care about the human and dog bond. I want you to be the best pair you can be.
I provide loving quality care for your animal companions while you are on vacation or away on business. I am also available for house sitting. I have been walking dogs, providing litter maintenance, pet sitting and house sitting for 5 years now. I love animals and they love me back. I no longer walk dogs or do litter maintenance on a daily or weekly schedule. These days I am available for occasional or or short-term jobs.
I offer in home dog obedience and behavior modification training for all breeds. I have independent certification from the council for professional dog trainers. I have been training for over five years, using positive, science-based techniques that get fast results. I am offering group training at the Animal Humane Society. Aggression and anxiety cases are most successful in the client's home or neighborhood. Clients love the work-at-your-own-pace program.
I always take the time to address the animals by name, ask them how they are, pet the, and pay a lot of attention first thing.
