About this pro
I'm an engineer, I can't do it any other way but the right way. Also, I keep up on all the latest solutions, tips, tricks, and gadgets to get the job done efficiently. I just try to know everything about what the job requires and am good at seeing a solution rather readily. Always have been that's probably why I went into engineering. Fixing problems for people who lived with them for a long time and were a thorn in their side. I like pulling out the thorns. On the chimney side, I like saving lives. If a chimney is broken or blocked or dirty it can kill you through fire or carbon monoxide poisoning.
Did a great job. Worked out well.Jun 2, 2014Verified

- How did you get started doing this type of work? After the Internet crash of 2000 (and other before that) I decided to get out of high technology sales and start my own business who's future I could have more control of.
- What types of customers have you worked with?In Chimney Repair it's mostly chimney relines where the internal structure of the flue or chimney is compromised due to wear, settling, age, etc. We also repair the cement crown, add chimney caps, repair mortar joints, and waterproof the entire chimney.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?On the chimney side, ask the service provider to show you pictures of the faults in the system. We provide digital pictures of the inside of the flue and external structural problems so there is no room for bs. We've provided them since 2005 along with each quote we do of any significance.
