- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started doing this work by remodeling the house I grew up in. A family friend who was a contractor came by to return a tool to my dad. When he saw the work we were doing, he offered me a job. I have been in the trades ever since.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of the work performed is remodel/addition work. In my opinion it is more of a challenge than new construction.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I did a window replacement job with some major framing and foundation issues. Another crew walked away from the job after realizing the degree of difficulty. I was able to do the job for over $700 less than the price of the crew that walked.
