FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each service and property is different so each job is priced accordingly. With that being said, some of the more basic jobs like mowing are priced using a standard pricing system.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start by gathering necessary information to provide an accurate quote. From there, if the quote is accepted, I work with the customer to schedule the work to be performed. Once the job is complete and the customer has approved the work I send an invoice.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Experience directly related to this field includes most of my years prior to the corporate job that I worked. I worked at a golf course throughout high school and learned a lot of valuable skills that I have carried over to the residential and commercial grounds maintenance field. I also worked for a lawn service in high school as a second job to the golf course. In college I worked for a large local lawn care and snow removal company in Mankato as a crew leader. I trained and managed a crew of 2-4 employees throughout the day. My close relationship with the owner of that company has helped me as I work to run and grow my new business. My dad is a certified arborist and plant expert and provides his expertise when needed. My formal education consists of a bachelors degree in marketing. I feel that this has provided a strong foundation for starting and growing my business as well as working with customers. Before starting this company I worked for a large international corporation in account management and sales. I gained a lot of great experience working with customers on a daily basis. The biggest thing I learned from that was the value of good customer service, relationships and first impressions.
