Working with Kel was great! He showed up on time, and the work was completed in less than the predicted amount of time. The bill was about 30% less than he bid, which was much appreciated. I will definitely contact him again if we need any more work completed on our home.Sep 6, 2019VerifiedStudio Rebus Incorporated's reply
We had dealt with a few contractors about an oasis build / kitchen remodel. Nobody was very much help until we found Kel with Studio Rebus. Kel exceeded our expectations! He did an amazing job! He has excellent attention to detail, and has your family in mind while doing the project. Kel also has a very extensive knowledge on home repair. I would recommend contacting Kel for almost anything. A very nice person, and a very honest man! His prices are also very reasonable.Mar 26, 2019Verified
We had an appliance install that had come to a incomplete dead end because it needed a bit of cabinetry work and a bit of installation to be done together. Kel did both the cabinetry modification and the appliance adjustment. He was very considerate of our budget and recommended cost effective solutions. We highly recommend working with him.Nov 3, 2018VerifiedStudio Rebus Incorporated's reply
Thanks for the five star review Carol. I enjoyed working with you folks.
I needed a bathroom door installed along with a bathroom fan. Kel clearly explained how he would do the work and the issues that would come up given its a 100-year-old house. I appreciate how he set expectations and exceeded expectations in the end. He is a true craftsman and you definitely get what you pay for.Oct 8, 2018VerifiedStudio Rebus Incorporated's reply
Thanks Ben. Appreciation from a business owner means a lot.
We hired Kel to take care of a few important baby prep projects at our home. He helped us install new baby gates in three different places, as well as fixed a wobbly door knob for our garage entry door. Kel was courteous, highly skilled, and able to make adjustments on the fly to help get our project wrapped up as promised. In addition, he was very friendly with our puppy and made us feel comfortable having him in our home. I would highly recommend Kel to anyone that is looking for a skilled handyman. Thanks Kel!Jun 12, 2018VerifiedStudio Rebus Incorporated's reply

License Type: Residential Building Contractor (MN)
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? The home page of our website gives a concise introduction to our system. Definitely click on the page called 'Budget Woes' and study the graphic.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work? The State of Minnesota requires sixteen hours of continuing education every two years to maintain the residential contractor's license.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?Keep in mind all the television and cable shows about remodeling are selling phantasy. Phantasies about speed, service, price and lack of conflict. Their contribution to the marketplace is not knowledge, but surreal expectations. Talk to family and friends about projects they've done similar to one you're contemplating. Talk to my past clients. I'll provide a list of references right after our first contact.
