Introduction: I am dedicated to my work. I believe that a good therapist is not just good with their hands, but also with their ability to listen and to understand and appreciate the differences of each client. Every person has a story and their bodies help complete the narrative. I love helping people feel better in their bodies. Chronic pain and restrictions can limit how we move about in the world and limit what we choose to do with our lives. Releasing painful restrictions can increase people's confidence in themselves and improve their outlook.

I was with Jonelle for over a year after a car accident with a neck and shoulder injury. Jonelle was always extremely helpful and would not have gotten through the year without her. Listening to my needs and willing to try different approaches. I would recommend Jonelle's services to anyone.

Jonelle is by far the best massage therapist that I have ever experienced. She is devoted to her art and it shows. She is not only knowledgable about the workings of the body, she is very intuitive as well. She has unfrozen my shoulder so I could work the next day (amazing!) and has worked through my chronic issues so that my flare ups of tendinitis have become rare :) Do yourself a huge favor and get a massage from Jonelle! She clearly loves what she does, and that translates to the best massage you'll ever get.

Outstanding massage. She really knows how to address some of the sports related issues I was having. Will definitely be back.

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

My typical Thumbtack process is to start a conversation with the prospective client to see if my skills can meet their needs. We can generally determine this within an email or two and have their appointment set up and ready to go.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I attended the Desert Institute for the Healing arts in Tucson, AZ. We were given a broad and in-depth education on pain management, injury protocol, spa work and sports massage. I have also continued my education with yearly seminars to keep me up to date and to provide myself and my clients with new skills and tools that I can use to be a consistently better therapist.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I want people to understand that Massage is not just a feel good treat. There has been a lot of research, especially in the past 10 years, that has proven the incredible benefits of regular massage. Massage is not just a luxury.
