I love working with John because he listens what I want for my goal and we work little by little every time we meet. I've seen progress within a month! I really appreciates that he demonstrates the exercises so I can understand how to do it properly. He is a great personal trainer to work with!Feb 16, 2019Verified
I hired John as a personal trainer because I needed someone to help me stay on track with diet and exercise. I did a session with him, and I knew he was the one for me. He was professional and always pushed me to make that extra effort. Even if I couldn't do it, he was supportive and optimistic about me getting it next time. John will help you achieve your goals by giving you a detailed plan about what he expects from you. He helped me get to my goals, and if I was still living in the Twin Cities area, I would hire him again.Jul 19, 2017Verified

I had been into fitness for a long time, but was looking for a challenge and someone who could really help me with my specific goals. I had also been in a bad car accident that affected my form and balance and I was really excited with the fact that John focused on those issues prior to just jumping into a workout. He took the time to get to know my pain points and where I wanted to improve my health and fitness. I saw so much progress even in the first few weeks! And I loved the variety of the program John put together for me. He kept the workouts fun and exciting, yet still challenged me. Though I had to take a break from our sessions for the time being, he would be the first person I'd call to start up personal training again.Dec 29, 2016Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?First off, there is no facility/membership fee. You only pay for training services. Normal rates are as follows: Individual Training 30 min - 45 45 min - 67 60 min - 89 Hour sessions are the best fit for most new clients (for educational purposes, etc.) but it varies based on the individual. Buddy Training is time-and-a-half. For instance, the rate for two people is $133.50 for an hour session (each person saves 25% off the individual rate). Group Training Varies based on the number of individuals in the group My goal is to never let price limit you from working with me. Some clients train 3 times per week, and others only train a couple of times a month. Obviously, the more often that we meet, the better. However, regardless of our training frequency, I will make sure that you know what to do between our sessions to make solid progress towards your goals!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? The first thing we do is schedule a complimentary initial visit. This gives you a chance to check out the training facility and for us to get to get to know each other. During this time, we also perform an assessment, which consists of: - Goal setting - Review of Exercise History (including any injuries or limitations) - Fitness Tests (typically body composition and a movement screen) - Discussion of Training Options We then determine what the best overall program will be for you - not just how often we're going to train together (typically 1, 2, or 3 times per week), but also what you'll need to do outside of our sessions to be successful.
