I am a beginning student. I've only played the fiddle for 4 months and recently switched to Dawne. I like her teaching style, she's open to any kind of music, it's obvious she has incredible experience. And I can tell she loves to teach. After only one lesson, I learned important techniques and the reading of music (skills) that I did not learn at previous lessons.

Dawne is wonderful! My 10 y.o. Daughter is new to the violin. She has taken a few after school classes where she honestly hasn't learned much. In our first meeting with Dawne, she improved exponentially. Dawne is patient, kind and encouraging, but also tough and straightforward. She is an excellent teacher and we couldn't be happier that we found her!
