- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I originally got my start in the social event industry making wedding and specialty cakes. But I was forever intrigued with every aspect of the events, so I always filed away ideas and tips that made each occasion unique.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My advice would be...don't let the initial quote fool or deter you. Ask a bunch of questions to find out what services are built-in to the planning packages. And find out how much hands on time is included---this is especially important for the day-of coordination services. :)
