- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been employed by a very popular makeup brand for 16 years. During this time, I have had several different roles - Makeup Artist, Manager, Trainer, and now Online Makeup Artist! I attend amazing quarterly trainings through the brand. In addition, I keep up with current makeup trends, celebrity makeup, social media, new technology, product knowledge, and application techniques.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Brides and bridal parties, makeup for those attending special events, parties, photo shoots, models for fashion shows, celebrities, politicians, makeup styling for TV news anchors, and expectant mothers for maternity photo shoots.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I was asked to provide makeup lessons and makeup styling for the anchors and reporters for a local news station. They loved the makeup and have continued to hire me for live broadcasts, photo shoots, professional, and personal events!
