Jeremy and Rachel worked really hard to repair my water heater but it is older so I ended up replacing it. They were able to get me scheduled in today and replace it. I really appreciate all the effort they put in so I could have hot water before it gets cold again. I will definitely call them again.
Steve was hired to complete a number of small repairs including water leaks from freezer and toilet, drywall repairs, installing a new garbage disposal,, leveling some appliances, etc. He started repairs the day I called and completed four days later (the drywall was a three day process.) His work was excellent. In terms of arrival times and our availability, I found that talking with Steve by phone was more effective than texting or emailing him.
Sewer Surgeon was hired to repair main sewer line showing signs of leaking. Mr. Hobbs communicated frequently prior to arrival. The work was performed in a reasonable timeframe, and explanations were informative. After completing repairs inside the home, he utilized equipment to identify roots within the pipes. These were removed and pipes were treated to inhibit growth. He also took the time to locate the main line leading to the easement. This level of service met all expectations. Sewer Surgeon will be used for other properties when service is required. Great company!
I needed some basic repairs to my sprinkler system. Galen was quick to respond and showed up as planned. It didn't take him long to fix everything as discussed. I'd highly recommend contacting Galen if you need help with your system.
Rescue 1 Construction's Mike Kemp did an outstanding job. I simply needed a new water softener installed as my 20-year old softener "died." He stopped by the house within hours of contact (on a weekend, no less) to see what needed to be done. He took measurements, familiarized himself with the new softener, we agreed on a price I thought was fair, and the work was done next day. He completed & cleaned up following the installation and forwarded photos as I was unable to be at my home at the end of the installation. The job was completed promptly, efficiently and in a timely matter. I've already recommended him to others. Michele in Olathe
Vern was amazing and professional with his work. He fixed a botched job which needed a unique repair and did so for a great value. I certainly will use Vern again and would recommend him for anything that he’s willing to do
I had water spilling into my basement that was caused by a sewer line clog. The first dudebro plumber that came out made the problem WORSE and charged me over $430, which I will be salty about forever. He then recommended I replace my sewer line because the pipes were so old, they likely had tree roots growing in them, or they had collapsed or been crushed and were no longer functional for whatever reason. The job would take 3-4 Days (in which we’d be without water/sewer) and would cost $5,000 to $12,000. Ya’ll, I am a 39 year old widow with 2 young kids and that news nearly sent me to the funny farm, I literally COULD NOT. Mom came over for sympathy and told me to put my info into this Thumbtack thingy and I did so whilst crying like a 4 year old who just dropped their ice cream. Like 3 seconds later Joe calls me and immediately puts me at ease. He says he can fix it. He can do it a hell of a lot cheaper. And he can do it faster. Shut up and take my money, right? Less than 48 hours later he and his boys are at my house, digging up the traitorous sewer pipes. They work fast and when the sun goes down they bust out the lamps and flashlights and KEEP WORKING until the damn job is done. That very night my kids had baths, we flushed ALL the toilets without having to say prayers first, and I washed the dishes that had birthed their own ecosystem. And the best part was he charged me less than $3,000 with promises that he would be speaking to the city about their crappy pipes and might even stick a camera down there to see just what exactly was up. So tl;dr I have a new plumber, his name is Joe and he kicked my sewer clog’s ass. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
Great job! Professional and efficient install. Explained how to work new water heater. Found a small leak and fixed that too. Excellent clean-up. Will call again.
We recently bought a house and needed to change 3 toilets and attach bidets. Austin's quote was reasonable and he was very prompt to respond. He replaced the 3 toilets, attached bidets and also fixed some of the water leakage issues we had. Pros - Response time is quick, was able to fix our plumbing issues, price is reasonable, professional to talk to , has an understanding of the job. If you have a time constraint, let him know beforehand so he can bring in help beforehand. Cons - He will need to carry the most common additional parts with him which may be needed during repair works so that he can avoid trip to homedepot in between. Our bath tiles were not levelled and additional shims were needed to level it out and i highly appreciate him going to homedepot and get those, but i am assuming this may be a common issue in some of the houses.
He showed up on time to shoot me an estimate. He came across very knowledgeable and his price was considerably less than the other 3 bids I received. Came out the next morning to get started and had my main sewage line repaired and up and running in just a few hours. Couldn't be happier. I won't hesitate to use him again.
The 1st person from ASAP was a no show. After 3+ hours received a text giving reason why they were late. This was after multiple attempts trying to contact this plumber w/0 any response. Dick Ray responded right away and came out within 2 hours after we 1st contacted them and fixed our clogged main. Thanks Cody with Dick Ray Master Plumber!!!
I had an emergency repair need where my main drain line was leaking and causing damage in my wall and on my new flooring in my basement. I sent my request at 9am on a Sunday and kelley plumbing completed the job that afternoon. Very professional and great quality. I will definitely use them again on my next plumbing project.
The plumbing professional who worked on our repairs did a great job on the upstairs bathtub drain. We also had a floor drain in the basement that was repaired but my wife did not correctly describe the problem to the professional. I let the company know and they rescheduled and fixed the problem in no time at all!
Wonderful experience. Repaired our plumbing issue quickly and affordably
On time, took his shoes off, very knowledgeable about the parts needed for repair. I would highly recommend.
I had an emergency plumbing problem. Handy Andy came out after hours. He was there within 30 min. did a temporary fix until morning. Came back the next day with new waterlines and shut off valves. He had the water back on in no time. Handy Andy is reasonably priced, quick service, and quality work. Great experience! We plan to use them in the future
They replace my main drain outside they showed up Doug and finish the job all in one day not only that I could never be happier with the price or the work
I woke up this morning to a leaking hot water tank. Wanted to shop local, so I called Polestar. Danny was at my house before 8:00, assessed the problem and started the repairs. I had a great experience with Polestar. They assisted with bringing a couple other items around the water tank up to current code Great job Danny and Mike. The guys were very professional and explained everything I needed to know about my new water heater. Next plumbing issue will be resolved with Polestar.
We had a water heater that was replaced buy 123 Plumbing. The water heater was in an odd location in a closet and it protruded halfway into the Attic. A competitor was completely intimidated by the job. Paul came in and spent some time evaluating it before committing. He did an excellent job! He obviously knows what he's doing. He is professional, personable and very up front and reasonable with his prices. I would definitely use him again.
I am extremely impressed with Holderman Construction. I recently hired this company for a project that involved several components, both indoor and exterior components, and I was completely satisifed with the results of every single component. I’ll go into the details in a minute, but among the highlights of working with this company were the excellent communication and feedback, the punctuality, great professionalism, and above all, the incredible attention to detail and high work quality, along with an excellent value - these guys put a lot of labor into my project at more than a fair price. And they were extremely easy to work with. My project lasted 4 days and they were great to interact with every single day, and did quality work every day. They were polite, friendly, and clean. They even removed their shoes, and did an outstanding job with post-project cleanup. The main interior project was bathroom remodeling of cabinets. We had attempted previously to have someone use color stain to re-stain our cabinets and trim, and we just never liked the results. So this project was starting to add up in cost, with a readily we didn’t really like. Ray (the primary/owner) and Aaron (one of his main partners) did an absolutely outstanding job on the bathroom cabinets. They fully sanded all the drawers and doors down so that the previous and original stains/polyurethane were completely removed before applying the color stain again. That was a critical component, because in the end, the color stain ended up looking terrific - even better than I’d hoped it would look. My expectation of how they should look when completed came from the swatches of the particular color I selected (rustic grey) for the color stain I’d purchased. We realized that the previous application of that same stain, we weren’t really seeing the wood come through the stain, but instead the previous (original) stain, becuase it hadn’t been fully removed. In the end, the cabinets and trim looked BETTER than that expectation! Ray and Aaron really hit it out of the park on this one. And when they were done with the sanding and staining, they cleaned up really well from the dust and there was very little lingering chemical smell from the stain. Awesome! I also had them fix some lingering plumbing problems that had frustrated me because a previous contractor was not able to resolve them. Not Holderman Construction - fixed them both for good. The remaining components of my project were wood rot repair and storm door installation. I really loved what they did with both of these tasks. Seems straightforward but there is the materials aspect - which product, wood or vinyl, etc. There was an odd complexity to the back door wood rot that introduced a potential obstacle but Ray and Aaron were able to find a solution and overcome it by finding the right type of wood at the right thickness (original builder apparently chose an unorthodox door and window frame thickness for SOME but not all of my windows and doors). They repaired the wood rot and painted over it and it looks great and is of course no longer rotted. But the real bonus for me was that in the process, Ray managed to correct an incredibly vexing problem with the main back door in front of the storm door - it was not level, and leaking a TON, and I mean a TON of air through the bottom and the sides. I didn’t go into the storm door installation with any expectation of improving the air flow issue for that door, but that’s what I ended up with. An almost complete remediation of that problem. I am absolutely thrilled with the back door now. It closes properly, it’s level, and virtually no air coming in! That’s only been bothering us for 15 years now. On top of that, several other contractors tried, but ultimately failed, to resolve that issue with the door. And come to think of it, at least one if not two previous contractors told me they’d fixed wood rot issues that they really did not fix. Well, they’re fixed now, becuase Holderman Construction fixed them CORRECTLY. Ray is highly attentive to detail, does quality work, at a more than fair price. You can tell he knows what he’s doing. And I can say the same for Aaron, his partner. I really enjoyed working with them, and not only would I hire Holderman Construction again, but I’m sure right now that I WILL hire them again for other projects I have waiting. I highly recommend them.
I've used Jeff on several different jobs and found that his work is very satisfactory. He's always left his jobs clean, he's been thorough with his work, and his prices are very reasonable. He's always been timely and curtious. I'd gladly recommend Jeff for any residential plumbing work or repairs.
