From the starting of roof inspection to finish the roofing, the entire Midwest team was incredibly professional and efficient. I am extremely happy with the final look of my new roof! The work was quick, and the cleanup was spotless. I would like to specify a special thanks to Mr. Jon Whitworth for walking me through every step of the roof inspection to file the initial insurance claim and the follow-up to make sure all of them are approved before starting the contract. We had some roof damage and started calling roofing contractors. Austin Duncan, with Midwest Roofing, came and did a detailed inspection. It was determined that our roof was definitely at the end of its viability, Austin Duncan Camino the house, and explained the options that were available. Austin also patched a section of damage caused by wind. After we considered our options, we contacted Austin and told him we were ready to proceed. Shingles were delivered, and then the rain delayed the installation, Austin was in contact with us to assure us that as soon as the weather broke, his crew would start. Today at 7 a.m. the roofing crew showed up and got to work stripping the old shingles and installing the underlayment and new drip edge and shingles. The crew was very well staffed and very efficient. When the installation was Austin came by and inspected the job, he scanned the area with a magnet for missed nails and any debris. I don't know how many nails are used to secure a 19 square roof, but there was only 1 nail found in the magnet sweep. All in all, my wife and I are very pleased with the performance of Midwest Roofing and the care they showed. Midwest Roofing was not the cheapest bid we had. They were not the highest bid either. Austin Duncan did a fantastic job explaining the options and the process. So, if you are in need of a quality roofing contractor, contact Midwest Roofing and have Austin Duncan give you an inspection you will not be disappointed.
