I hate leaving negative reviews. I own my own business as well and I try not to leave reviews unless absolutely necessary. I hired Mike and looked forward to working with him. He was very friendly. I noticed right away he wasn't quite as experienced as I was hoping (runs in his paint) but decided to go with it. I came to the job one day after new carpet was installed and was shocked to see spilled paint that someone had tried clean up on my brand new carpet. No one even told me this happened and I was left to find it myself. I then spent 3 hours trying to clean it and rescue the carpet. When I asked Mike about it, he said, "I'm sorry, I thought my partner cleaned it, it was only a few spots." Then I walked into the next room to find a 5 gallon bucket of dark paint just sitting on the carpet. Unfortunately, I didn't have a choice but to fire them. Any painter should use drop cloths and do everything within their power to not get paint on carpet and if they do, notify home owner immediately and remedy the situation. Unfortunately, I didn't get any of my money back either and had to hire another painter for twice the money.

HI everyone, my response to this is that some inexperienced people make problems worse by being that way. It is true that paint was waisted by one of my workers and got on it right away on cleaning it up. I also told her I would get it cleaned professionally. She did not want to hear that and decided to call someone that wanted twice as much as I had bid. The money paid to me was earned in the work done and the original agreement was not satisfied in the beginning! I was surprised by the outcome because people usually give you a chance to make amends to correct the problem because mistakes will happen! Mike and his crew were pleasant and engaging, professional and did a wonderful job painting my new home. They completed the project within the time frame projected and always made certain that I was pleased with the result. The only reason they get 4 stars instead of 5 is that I felt that I needed to supervise the project closely (although that could just be because I'm very picky!) I would definitely recommend Mike and his crew; as a matter of fact they are going to be starting a new painting project for me in just 3 weeks!
