Kenishia was great!!! Very professional, punctual & responsive to texts and phone calls. It was such a blessing to find someone who could do my hair and makeup at such an affordable price. She did my makeup and my aunt's makeup for my wedding this past Sunday and we both looked stunning!! I received so many compliments & everyone was asking who did my makeup. Kenishia is a jewel. We'll be using her services again when my cousin gets married later in the fall. And! Her birthday was on Sunday & she worked that day! Book with her!! You will not be disappointed!! Kenishia KILLED it on both my makeup trial and my big day. She's super professional and focuses on skincare as well as makeup with her application which I love. I didn't even wanna take my makeup off at the end of the night!

I travelled to Dallas for my best friend's wedding and was in need of a talented yet affordable MUA. This was not only my first time in Dallas but also my first time using Thumbtack. I was pleasantly surprised with the service I received. I booked with Kenishia because I was really impressed by her portfolio of work that I saw on Instagram and her past reviews. From the beginning, Kenishia maintained an open line of communication. On the day of the appointment, she arrived to my hotel on time and ready to work. Regarding the makeup services, Kenishia was truly a professional. I really appreciated that she took the time to prep my face before applying makeup. During the service, she did not hesitate to answer any questions regarding products, application, or simply recommend brands that would work best for me. She really works to enhance your natural beauty and make you red carpet fabulous. I love the wedding glam look she created for me so much so I did not want to take my makeup off at the end of the night. I received so many compliments on her work and I would book her again without hesitation next time I am in the Dallas area.

Kenisha did an amazing job doing my make up for my engagement party! She was so sweet and communicated in a timely manner. She was open to seeing my outfit to compliment her artistry on what she was going to do. My pricing only includes the amount of the service. I also charge a travel fee. It differs depending on your location.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically introduce myself and the services that I offer, go over the client vision for their special occasion, maybe suggest and give my input to enhance their vision so their makeup can come out exactly how they envisioned.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Well I’m a licensed Esthetician and have been doing makeup since 2011. I currently work at Sephora as a beauty advisor/color artists. So we have training that we watch daily. I also attend different makeup artist trainings to stay up to date on the newest trends.
