Had a very heavy marble Table to be moved from one location to Our home. It took a couple of attempts because it was such a heavy piece. Today Max force showed up with five very strong men. And they were able to complete the task and deliver as promised with efficiency. It was a good experience. Thank you for your service

Thumbtack mover who doesn't accept payments through Thumbtack, nor do they communicate their full fees on Thumbtack. They charge min 2 hours and also a fuel fee. I don't recommend booking them for small local moves, or moves more than a few miles away from their base in Grandview, MO.

Dawna, We are sorry you feel this way but for various reasons, we do not accept payment through Thumbtack. Additionally, we do not know where you came up with the figure you paid because that is not what the charges for your project would have been. The vendor and the client must reach mutual agreement on what the details of the project are and what the charges will be before they proceed. We always inform our clients of exactly what the charges will be so that they can make an informed decision as to whether to proceed with us. We strongly suggest that you do not instant book with a vendor unless you are fully aware of the total pricing of the project. Nor should you make payment until you know how and when the vendor wishes payment to be made. We are not obligated to accept your project just as you are not obligated to accept us or our pricing. To write a negative review because you are angry about the pricing and because you chose to make a payment through a system we do not use, really is beyond the pale. We have never had this issue and our reviews clearly indicate that we have been an honest and trustworthy vendor on Thumbtack.
