- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I experienced poor quality "professional" carpet cleaning from two different "steam cleaning" companies and I also rented a Rug Doctor once. In all cases I was disappointed with the result. It took days for my carpets to dry not hours like they had promised. Once dry the carpets were stiff and crusty from excessive detergents that were not thoroughly rinsed. The residue left behind in the carpet attracted dirt like a magnet and within 2 weeks my carpets looked worse than they did before I paid to have them cleaned! I decided to figure out a better way. After researching the market, I found that the new "dry cleaning" method of cleaning carpets is superior in every way to the old "steam cleaning" method.
