I hired Jay for a number of small...tasks and he was quick to get them all completed. Hanging items outdoors in masonry, caulking an area of the house, attempting to figure out a shade that needed to be hung (we had the wrong hardware), sorting out miscellaneous doorknobs, and other smallish things. He was courteous, quick and kind. Clearly, he's capable of doing larger tasks and we are currently planning on having him back to address some insulation and drywall needs.

I liked that Jay was versatile and could work on plumbing issues, electrical issues and structural issues (e.g., repairing a sagging door). My house is getting old and he was knowledgeable enough to explain that he could fix my old faucet — but that eventually it would have to be replaced. I was glad that he gave me the option to repair it — and yet also was realistic about its future lifespan.
