I hired Shay to install a header, frame a basement and a few other high level items. While we ran into one hurdle Shay is a man of his word/character and made it right with our group. I would and plan on working with Shay in the future.

We used S&L to finish our master bath remodel that our old contractor had taken so long to do. Shay and Shane were very professional, communicated very well and made suggestions to us. They arrived on time and did very good work. We will be hiring for additional work.

Removal of a old patio stairs, made of wood. Was decrepit and rotting. Replaced with a new one. It is solid and feels really safe to stand on compared to its predecessor. Shay was prompt, arrived on time, and got to work. The job was completed quickly without any problems. I like thumbtack as it gives me a chance to build a list of reliable contacts and I'll be adding Shay and his team to my list.

The guys responded to my questions, showed up on time and were nice to deal with. They did an awesome job on staining my shed and hanging exterior window shutters. I then had them do some repair work on exterior window trim.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
we are a small local company, we quote our projects base on how long it would take our crew to complete it. we are not looking to strike it rich but to take care of ourselves
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
to cover all bases, we would require a contract and a deposit ( cover materials and other expenses). We want to be hired and we are very reasonable and affordable!!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have over 30 years of combined experiences in remodeling/ make readys/ even built home right off the foundations. We are a new and local company, just trying to build a good reputation
