Heavenly Face Painting - Kansas City
About this pro
Sandra came out to our school carnival and did balloon making for the kids. The loved their balloon animals and much more that Sandra made them. She was organized, got their on time and was very prepared. She is soft-toned and the kids felt very comfortable with her.Dec 27, 2014Sandra W.'s reply
Juanita, thanks for your review, and I would love to come again, anytime. Bless you!
Sandra Wolf's face painting is like a kiss from the Father, saying, "I love you, and I have created you for a special destiny."Dec 26, 2014Sandra W.'s reply
Your review is the sweetest ever. It is my heart's desire for this to be reality.
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My prices per design at a festival usually range from $3 to $25. If the booth fee is very high I may start at $5. My minimum price for parties is $150 for 1.5 hours, $190 for 2 hours, then continue to add $40 per half hour after that. But please contact me for a specific quote because these prices can vary in certain situations. Balloon art (simple) alone is $75 for the first hour, more if detailed balloon art is included, and $30 for each additional half hour. Often the two are combined, and the rate depends on how many children are expected.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Yes, there is a great deal of education available for face painters online and at conferences. I am constantly reviewing tutorials on design ideas, product information, application of make-up, painting techniques, hygiene, etc. Many years ago, when I first began, none of this was available and I learned everything the hard way! But even in its beginning stages people loved my work, and have often said, "You are the best face painter I have ever seen." I doubt that, but it feels good to be appreciated!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?Someone at my church volunteered me to do the face painting for vacation bible school. I declined, explaining I was unqualified and had no experience, but they gave me no option. Thank God! I loved it, so after three summers of doing that, I tried a festival...the rest is history!
