- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
If hired 50% of the total cost will be asked upfront at the start of the job and then the rest of the 50% after completion.Also, if there is a change in the work meaning if something is added in that was not originally agreed upon it will be considered a change order and be added into the cost.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will first ask to schedule a time to meet to look over and discuss the project. Then if you the homeowner find my price to be fair then we can schedule the time frame in which the project can be completed. Also if there is to be more work added to the scope of work the price for that will be added in and raise the total to your project and may extend the time frame of completion depending on the type of work that may be added. Most of what I have learned has been hands on in the field learning from everyone I have ever worked with.
