Chef Ryan delivered an absolutely outstanding experience from the moment he walked through our door to the very second he left. Every detail — organization, timing, preparation, execution, cleanliness — was handled at the highest level. We could immediately tell we were in the hands of a true professional. Even leading up to the event, he was incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with as we worked through a menu that fit what we were hoping for. The planning process felt effortless. We shared some preferences but ultimately told him we wanted his creativity and flair to shine through — and it absolutely did. This evening was designed to be more of a hands-on cooking class for my husband, who was admittedly a little nervous at first. Chef Ryan put him completely at ease. My husband is not a novice in the kitchen, and Chef Ryan still managed to teach him incredible new techniques and “tricks of the trade.” They worked seamlessly together, and Chef Ryan had an impressive ability to keep the entire dinner moving smoothly while still providing thoughtful instruction. He balanced everything beautifully — interacting with us naturally and effortlessly, feeling like part of the group, yet never losing focus or professionalism. He somehow managed to stay fully engaged while also letting us enjoy our guests without ever feeling intrusive or overbearing. It was the perfect mix of head-down precision and warm personality. The food was exceptional. Every dish was unique, intentional, and beautifully plated. We could not stop taking pictures. Dessert was phenomenal. Watching the progression of each course unfold felt like witnessing a little bit of magic in our own kitchen. He made nearly six hours in our kitchen feel effortless. We laughed, learned, and genuinely enjoyed every moment. My husband had an absolute blast, and we are still talking about the experience. If you’re on the fence about booking Chef Ryan — don’t hesitate. The level of talent, professionalism, and overall experience he delivers makes it worth every bit. Ryan was absolutely incredible!!! We will be hiring him again in the future and we look forward to that time already. I hired Ryan to do a private dinner party for my husband’s 40th birthday. He prepared 3 delicious courses for a group of our friends and he did not disappoint. He was excellent to communicate with leading up to the event, he was willing to accommodate food allergies without issue and he was great to interact with throughout the evening. There were so many personalized details where he truly went above and beyond to focus on providing an experience we wouldn’t forget. If you’re on the fence about hiring Chef Ryan, just do it!! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
As a default - I’m probably not the cheapest and prefer working with high-end ingredients. . . But I am also very proficient in budget planning and have had tons of experience creatively bridging the gaps between what my clients would like and what their budgets will allow. I will always give you a straight and honest answer. Just ask!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know as much as possible about my clients. What they prefer, but more importantly what they do not care for. I really like repeat clients with whom I know preferences well. I always want to create an experience that will not be forgotten
