Carrie was one of the best speakers I've heard in a long time. She had the perfect amount of humor and empathy weaved into her talk. I got great feedback about her from the audience afterwards.
I met Deidre at a women's conference in 2014 where she was a keynote speaker. I was utterly amazed and literally transformed by her communicative grace and her inspirational message. I would recommend her for any speaking or singing event. She has a presence that appeals to the masses and a personality and eloquence that draws people in (and I am saying that from personal experience). She is awesome!
Lindsey generously agreed to speak to a MBA capstone class I teach. I bring a lot of speakers to my classes, and Lindsey connected with them in a profoundly meaningful way that really left a mark. Her messages on winning in business and winning in life were spot on for today's worker who is struggling with how to find a life balance that works so that they can be successful both at home and at work. Smart, engaging, powerful, Lindsey has it all. If you have the good fortune to have the opportunity to hear Lindsey speak, you must do it!
My company recently hired Mea Austin as the Keynote Speaker for our annual user conference. She was great! Mea took the time to understand our business and focused her presentation to the needs of our clients. She is an energetic, entertaining and motivational speaker that kept our clients glued to their seats the entire session.
Sylvia was great! She worked with us to develop a workshop specific to our needs. It was a two hour workshop/presentation for 25 people. The presentation was very thought provoking and was beneficial in both our professional and personal lives. I would definitely recommend Sylvia's workshops to others. She will be a repeat at ours!
Ann Butenas is an extraordinary writer. Her articles place you inside the story - painting a vivid image of what she is describing. Always prompt and pleasant to work with, Ann is my go-to writer.
JJ was a phenomenal speaker whose message really resonated with our crowd (High School Graduation Ceremony). He was prepared, on time and provided a clear and concise message to everyone in attendance. We had multiple families express their gratitude after the event for his speech and the message he delivered. I would highly recommend JJ to anyone looking for a dynamic public speaker capable of captivating a room.
Working with Richard was an absolute pleasure from the first correspondence to the keynote delivery and even the face time after the program. Richard is a committed and passionate artist and speaker whose experience, background, humor and life experience all intertwine perfectly to form one of the best motivational speeches I've seen in a long time. He captivated the youth in our audience, had staff, business leaders and educators laughing throughout and produced an exceptional piece of art that will hang proudly in the lobby of our non-profit agency. We highly recommend Richard to anyone in search of a talented, professional, insightful motivational keynote speaker. Thank you Richard, for being the highlight of our banquet!
I was a high school senior, looking for a speaker. I didn't have much direction on what our school group wanted. I found Karen here on thumbtack, and she responded almost immediately. Her price was very reasonable and she worked with us for our budget. I talked to her multiple times on the phone and she was extremly nice to work with, she guided me on what step I needed to do next and checked up on me to make sure everything was going well. I would highly recommend Karen for any type of event she is a wonderful speaker and person.
Roland Commack is one of the most inspiring people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. His story touches my heart deeply. It is amazing to hear Roland speak about the struggles he has had to bear to achieve so many successes. Listening to him renews a sense of hope and faith for me. I can't say enough good things about this humble yet powerful man. I would recommend to anyone that they give him the opportunity to present what I feel is one of the most inspiring stories I have ever heard. How Roland's faith and determination has persevered is something everyone could definitely benefit from. Lana Hayes
I enjoyed Allen’s keynote speech last week. His energy was electric and his message was powerful as well. There’s not many speakers that speak from the heart nowadays and it’s always refreshing to see one in action. I’ve done a little digging into his 21 Day Fitness System as well and it’s pretty sound. He’s an overall well rounded guy.
Hire a marketing expert to speak at your event. John Jantsch is a speaker, marketing consultant, award-winning social media publisher, and author of two Wall St. Journal best-selling books: "Duct Tape Marketing -- The World's Most Practical Small Business Marketing Guide" and "The Referral Engine -- Teaching Your Business To Market Itself." After working with small business owners for over 15 years and growing increasingly frustrated with the lack of a systematic approach to small business marketing, including online and social media, Jantsch decided he could make his mark on the small business world by creating the perfect small business marketing system.

I am a former college football coach where I coached our athletes to give their best performances on every play. This resulted in our winning two conference championships. My programs make neural science fun and understandable and also includes best practices of elite performers. I teach people how to focus, how to influence what they pay attention to and how to create habits that will instinctively generate the actions necessary to reach their goals. There is a core of personal accountability and I'm known as "The Accountability Guy". I certainly build a case for the importance of taking responsibility and being the source versus going victim and blaming. I customize for every group and when hired I will ask about your goals, your systems and metrics, your KPI's, your daily activities and then your obstacles. I incorporate this into the presentation. This is an entertaining, high energy and fun presentation with immediately useful and relevant content. I can customize to any amount of time. I am the only speaker who presents like I do. No one else has the background that I have. I've worked with Nobel Prize winner Roger Sperry while I was a head football and wrestling coach at Cal Tech in Pasadena, CA. I had the opportunity to refine and simplify these techniques with Steve Mariucci, fellow assistant coach while at Cal State Fullerton. Steve is a former head coach for the San Francisco 49'ers and Detroit Lions and is now a broadcaster. I don't emphasize this unless you want me to. I also coached an Olympic Gold Medal winner in Greco Roman Wrestling, Jeff Blatnick, who won the gold in the 1984 Olympics.
Connecting you with people, opportunity, and profit. If I told you I deliver information through keynote speaking, professional development training and business coaching (along with publishing two books), you might put me into the typical buckets, but clients will tell you that the work I do is far from typical. My passion is inspiring people to step out of their current habits and into new opportunities that are already surrounding them. I leverage my extensive experience in the science of mindset and the art of business connections to help my clients create an advantage over their counterparts and their competition. Since 2008 I have helped individuals achieve higher levels of performance, and companies to discover new opportunities for success. My clients include businesses of all sizes and their executives, individuals, and associations in a variety of industries. Even with that, I don’t believe that one size fits all….for anything. 99% of my clients came through other places than Thumbtack so you won't find reviews here. What is the specific challenge you are dealing with or the goals you are looking to tackle? There are three ways to work together: ● CUSTOMIZED TRAINING Goals, challenges, and opportunities do not come in a one-size-fits-all package. I create dynamic atmospheres in groups small and large, from company departments to leadership teams and national associations. Through custom-designed, on-site workshops and discussions, we get to the heart of the issues and design immediate action plans. These sessions will leave you energized, engaged and ready to take action. ● COACHING Are currently leading a team, in business development, career transition, or pursuing the solopreneur route? That is where an outside perspective can help you gain the clarity you need to produce amazing results quickly and effectively. Whether it is differentiating you from your competition or creating profitable strategic relationships, I will help you focus on the main issues, eliminate distractions and hold you accountable to reach your goals. Yes, we get in the weeds together. If business development is your focus, then the Connecting Advantage Program may be just what you need. ● KEYNOTES AND BREAKOUT SESSIONS With over nine years experience as keynote and breakout session speaker, my programs are known for a-ha moments, highlights of humor and tactical takeaways. More than motivation, my customized approach and message leave audiences with insights and practical strategies they can immediately apply. Speaking topics are customized to focus on the critical needs of every audience with a tailored message that addresses their pain points and their amazing (but often hidden) opportunities. MOST REQUESTED TOPICS INCLUDE..... THE POTENTIAL DIFFERENCE We all have incredible potential but the difference between good and great is directly related to how you think. Change happens, and in today’s world, it’s the only constant. New initiatives, day to day pressures, technology or too much to juggle on a professional and personal front can leave you feeling stressed out and overwhelmed. Before you can create new possibilities and tackle bolder goals, you need to overcome the greatest obstacle you’ll ever face – the four inches between your ears. The good news is that it doesn’t need to be complex or confusing. This program is based on the universal principals of performance mindset. It isn’t about the soft and fluffy stuff but instead helping people understand how their thoughts, attitudes, and beliefs impact their actions and outcomes. The result is helping individuals achieve higher levels of performance in all aspects of their life, and companies discover new opportunities for growth. Whether stuck at the first level or experiencing new challenges at that next level, this interactive program combines real-world examples, tidbits of science and easy to apply concepts to help you manage your mindset, shift from motivation to engagement and empower you to thrive through change. YOUR CONNECTING ADVANTAGE Ask any senior executive, community leader or successful salesperson which single skill or habit helped them excel in their career – an overwhelming majority will respond with one simple word…networking. The expertise, ideas, and introductions that other people provide can make all the difference to your personal and collective success. All of the resources you need are, with networking, are at your disposal to help you achieve your goals. But, how many times have you left a networking event or coffee meeting and felt like you just wasted hours your time? I can teach you, your team how to truly connect and make your interactions have a greater impact. This process can be learned and leveraged by anyone who wants to successfully navigate the corporate ladder, uses sales to drive their business or expand their market presence. Attendees will walk away with a strategy to position their personal brand, increase influence and build lasting relationships. In case you’re wondering what sets the following topics apart? Typical networking programs only focus on what to do AT or AFTER an event or conference (business cards galore!). You have 3 program options to choose from: ► The Networking Shift ► Strategic Social Media ► Business Development in the Connection Economy DELIVERY: My most requested topics are available as keynote talks, breakout sessions, webinars, 1/2 day private workshops and full-day intensives.
