Thank you for your feedback. We would like to provide additional context regarding this project. When the project was scheduled on April 24, we indicated we were 3 weeks away from starting. We experienced significant rainfall over the following weeks, which impacted our ability to begin work as originally anticipated. We communicated these weather-related delays to you throughout the process, along with the time required to have utilities properly located and marked before excavation could safely begin. Despite these challenges, we started your project on May 22. Considering the weather delays, utility-marking requirements, and the fact that you had already received your deposit back while still moving forward with the work, beginning approximately four weeks after scheduling was a reasonable timeline under the circumstances. We also proceeded with the project despite several additional issues that could have resulted in further delays. In an effort to keep the project moving and provide good customer service, we completed several items that were not included in the original estimate, such as moving and adjusting sprinkler heads. Additionally, we had already purchased materials for your project before you received your deposit back. The retaining wall is now more than halfway complete, and we continue working toward completion. Regarding the landscaping portion, the estimate you approved included allowances for 4 large plants, and you indicated that you wanted 6 large plants. We are following the same estimate that was accepted and authorized before work began and still going to install 6 plants per your request. We gave several days for the review to be updated with this additional information before responding publicly. We remain committed to completing the project professionally and appreciate the opportunity to clarify the circumstances surrounding the timeline and scope of work.
