Introduction: We use only scientifically proven, positive reinforcement training techniques. We use a clicker to tell the dog. "Yes..that's what I am looking for!" and follow the click with the treat reward. Once the desired behavior is learned, we fade the clicker and replace treats with real-life rewards! We do not have to shock, prong, or choke to get our dogs to engage in appropriate behavior. All we need to do is reward, praise, pet, play and LOVE them. Fostering communication between people and their pets. Teaching puppies appropriate behaviors before they have the opportunity to develop problem behaviors.

I cannot express how wonderful Michelle was My Chihuahua was totally out of control and the first 3 weeks due to my health I couldn't practice with him but she didn't let that stop our progress. My dog is so much better and I told her I wanted to sign up for 3 more lessons and she told me lets do it a week at a time to make sure that is all you need. Have to say she has a calming effect on mr I highly recommend her. You will not be disappointed

My standard rate is $75 per hour. Multi-session training packages are discounted.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
During the initial consultation we discuss the owner's goals for the training package and determine how many sessions will be necessary to achieve those goals. Is the customer interested in a complete basic manners package or just one or two skills like jumping or looses leash walking?
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Completion of Assistant Trainer's Course, Greater St. Louis Training Club Completion of Dog Trainer Program, Karen Pryor Academy Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA) Animal Welfare Certificate, St. Louis Community College
