- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge about $70 plus $10 for lashes; my rates are very competitive for my experience
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am self taught but my first job at 15 was at a place similar to Glamour Shots where I did hairstyles, makeup application, wardrobe and assisted with photography. Following that I helped w/ proms and formals in HS. After HS, I invested in my own freelance business and started doing weddings, special events and photography makeup. I have worked with many different faces and ages. I have also worked with several different brands and affiliates. I received special training from these companies and it has really helped me to stay on top of the trends. I mostly work as an artist on weekends and typically by referral or word of mouth. The reason is because even though makeup is a passion and hobby of mine, I am also a full time mom to 7 kiddos and have a full time job working in the healthcare field as well.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started at a young age of interest and taught myself through reading Bobbi Brown’s beauty books as well as Kevyn Aucoin’s. I have followed many YouTuber’s and love learning new techniques as well as teaching makeup.
