Josh was wonderful! We had large drywall holes patched and a light that had pulled from the ceiling rehung. He was fast and professional. Highly recommended.

Amazing, just amazing. They did an unbelievable job! Fast, extremely friendly, had great ideas! I will, and am hiring them over and over again. If you hire anyone else but these guys, you are making a mistake!

Hired on Thumbtack

First I would like to say Josh and his crew were all nice guys and seem like hard workers. In my best judgement all of our issues stemmed from inexperience, not malice. We found ourselves in a time crunch when our original drywallers called to say they had a three week delay. We were trying to finish our townhouse to be ready for Christmas so we immediately looked for replacements. Josh showed up same day and gave a prompt bid of about $6k and 10 days. Of the two bids received, his was a few hundred dollars more expensive and also would take 4 days longer than our other bid but he made such a good impression on us we chose him anyway. They started work an hour late the first day ( traffic) but worked a long day. Our project includes a first a second floor and about 6 days in they were not even finished hanging the 2nd floor, let alone any taping and mudding. We called a meeting to check in on timelines and they admitted they were behind schedule, and would need additional time. This pressed our timeline badly but we decided to move forward asking them to finish the bathrooms first so that tile at least could stay on schedule. Day 12 found them still on our second floor and Josh was no longer on the job site, I think by this point he had given up on us and had left two guys to wrap up what they could. I couldn't reach him by text on day 12 when we were growing more concerned about the days slipping by but he reached out to my sister/ co-owner via text saying that he could no longer afford to keep his guys there and that if we wanted him to keep going he needed an additional $3700. At this point we are frustrated and well behind schedule. We were unwilling to also blow our budget by thousands of dollars so we told him he could just walk away with the 50% down payment. At the end of the day they had finished about 40% of the job for 50% of the money and took 150% of the time they had projected to do so. A huge loss for us. The work they left behind was ametuer at best, some places the drywall was complete, other places were missing pieces. They had some walls taped and adjoining walls not, some mudded, some not. The bathrooms were still incomplete meaning our tile had to be rescheduled. Our replacement team (also a lower bid than Josh's) billed an additional $850 to repair and complete the work Josh left behind on the second floor alone. I wish him well in his future en-devours but unfortunately cannot recommend him in any way.
