They charge ridiculously high “fees” for everything. I’ve had 3 visits with this company over the past week and a half. The tech never showed up to one visit, that I had to take off work for. Did anyone care? NOPE. No one cared I’m out $300 for having to miss work for no reason. At my original appointment, my tech told me I need a new thermal expansion tank on my hot water heater, he wasn’t even at my house for an issue with my hot water heater. So they will up charge in every way they can. I mentioned to the plumber my water spigot outside wasn’t working properly, he wanted to charge over $150 to replace a piece of plastic, this task took him under 3 minutes and the part costs $5. When I mentioned something about the price he changed it to $79. For the 1st visit I paid $377 (float kit on front spigot & garbage disposal install- I already bought the disposal). Then I paid $380 for the thermal expansion tank that I never called about. Then the best one..when an appliance repair person showed up to add a coupling to my fridge water line (I already bought parts), I paid another $150. Yes $150 to add a coupling to my water line, my dad already fixed the kink in the line. So all the tech had to to was literally screw the coupling on. this took him under 5 minutes. When I asked why it’s so much? His response was it’s a “labor fee.” While he was here for that I mentioned my fridge is not draining properly and ice is building up, he wanted to charge MORE to use a steamer to declog the water line. Lol no thanks, I own a hair dryer I can use. Oh and I paid a service fee for this call, even tho I’m out another $300 for them missing their service call the other day. I will say that Josh the plumber is very nice…so that’s a plus.
