They determined that the thermostat I had purchased wouldn’t work due to the age of the property, explained why, and offered a suitable alternative. Our current temps are in the 90s with heat index in 3 digits so it's sweltering outside and having the AC go out suddenly in this situation was horrible. As we flurried to find someone, I assumed it would be hard to find someone to come out soon. My experience with Garrett Heating and Cooling proved me wrong! They responded to my Thumbtack request within seconds (literally got an email right after I submitted the request). Jeff called and talked through our issue. He scheduled us out a couple of day, but surprisingly called back and was able to fit us in the same day and came out within hours. He and his nephew arrived, immediately diagnosed, fixed the issue and got us up and running again. Professional, Punctual, Responsive, Kind, Customer Attentive, Reasonably Priced - all that. All the things (as the younger generation might say - smile). I highly recommend and have saved them in my phone to pass on to family and friends."See more

Our air conditioner had a burnt out transformer and circuit board. I had other air conditioner companies come out and had outlandish quotes and misdiagnosed the problem causing the short circuit. lol ice Heating came out, were very professional, took great care in analyzing the requirements needed for the job, quickly responded to professionally install the system, and then made sure the system worked efficiently.
