- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Customers should know that pricing is based on the type of item, number of pieces, complexity of the job, and whether wall mounting is required. Some projects may cost more due to heavy items, custom installations, or difficult wall types. I’m always upfront about pricing before the job starts, and there are no hidden fees. Discounts may be available for multiple items or larger projects, and any pricing adjustments are discussed in advance.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
“My process starts with understanding the customer’s needs. I ask a few questions about the items being assembled or mounted, the space, and any wall types involved so I can give an accurate estimate. Once scheduled, I arrive on time with the proper tools, protect the work area, and complete the job efficiently and safely. Before finishing, I make sure everything is secure, level, and meets the customer’s expectations, and I clean up the area before leaving.”
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Well, I started off in the shop working with my dad, stripping, sanding, staining furniture as I was growing up and had the passion was working with my hands and solving problems. Also, I work for Ashley home store for several years delivering and set it up furniture.
