When COVID hit in 2020, my corporate job put me on furlough which was a blessing in disguise as I finally had time to start my woodworking business, LeGrand Woodworking.
Since then, I've designed and built hundreds of projects ranging from elevated garden beds to TV stands and dinner tables. I'm known as the Wood Whisperer to many and will take great care in your assembly, design, or repair needs.
I have a dedicated shop I use to work, so I have most every tool readily available to complete any project. I look forward to helping you with your furniture needs and won't rest until you are satisfied with my work.

I had a great experience working with Ty. He assembled my standing desk quickly and efficiently, and then also took care of a few odd jobs around the house. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is visible for fairly routine assemblies and projects, so there shouldn't be anything hidden to you. If I notice something more detailed that needs specialty tools or time, then I will definitely let you know before assembly so I am respectful of your time and patience. It can be difficult selecting the right pro for a job, so consider me forthright and honest in all matters.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Understanding their flexibility for project dates, pictures of the item or job to understand tools needed, and answering any questions to make sure they are comfortable with the process.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been doing woodworking since I was a child, building and assembly comes very natural to me with the variety of tools needed. In addition, I apprenticed with two different fine-woodworking companies and learned a great deal about finishes, stains, and paint.
