I had an upcoming audition and I hadn't done performance singing in a few years. In order to prepare, I took a few lessons with Carolyn Smith. She is knowledgeable about the preparation process for an audition, as well as the actual singing lessons. We determined my singing range, then focused on perfecting the audition song. She is a positive and patient teacher, encouraging one over the tough spots while also challenging one to continue to improve each time with new techniques. She taught me how to adapt the sounds in the song to better show off my voice, how to add expression to my singing, and improve my overall sound (tone, projection, breath control, etc.). I highly recommend her to anyone who wishes to improve his/her singing abilities.

My son was very resistant to go to piano lessons he wants to play the drums. Darlene has geared his lesson to focus on the rythm. He is having a wonderful time.

Jonathan R. Sneddon has outstanding teaching methods and skill. "We are very lucky to have found Jonathan to teach our students piano. He is exceptionally well qualified, and is very professional. He is a very expressive and dedicated teacher, who often plays for the student to provide an example, Jonathan takes teaching seriously. He works hard on correcting the student’s mistakes and on improving their playing ability, while at the same time emphasizing the development of the student’s musicality and expression. His teaching is very detailed, and the student achieves the best results from it. Jonathan R. Sneddon is definitely the piano teacher we trust and recommend. Barbara Smith – Executive Director CEC

My kids have been playing music for 10 years and Tim Pope is, by far, THE BEST instructor they have had. He doesn't JUST teach music but he truly cares about the individuality of the student and try's to help them improve on the direction they want to go within the music world. He is timely, prepared, joyous, uplifting and fun.

Ana is absolutely wonderful! She really gets to know her students and their families, and works with the children on a personal level. My son loves going to his piano lessons with her, and learns so fast due to her great teaching methods! We couldn't have asked for a more patient and understanding teacher.

About

Our work at Music In Motion stands out because we customize each lesson to the individual. This makes practicing an event that you look forward to because you are playing songs you LOVE...We also provide lessons for "special needs" students as well as scholarship programs for those who are "at risk" or cannot afford typical monthly private lessons.

About

I offer private lessons in voice and piano, incorporating music fundamentals. I work only with highly interested students ages seven through adult who have a piano in their home. Lessons are 20, 30 or 45 minutes at $1 per minute plus a transportation cost of 50 cents per mile. The first free lesson is a compatibility evaluation at only the cost of transportation. Mutual acceptance is necessary before further lessons will be scheduled. Music Master Jim
