Recently, Jeff responded to my query on Thumbtack for post production help. I did some research & really liked his work better than all of the others that contacted me. Jeff helped me with a 60 second commercial that will be shown on 40' cinema screens at movie theaters promoting a local business in the Brattleboro Vt./Keene N.H. area. I asked for this ad to be similar to a movie trailer, very epic/dramatic music with lots of action & movement dynamic employed. I sent him my video clips + voice-over (not on a story line btw) which he received from me on a Saturday. On that following Monday in the early afternoon I had an incredible finished piece that was just perfect.. My client & I are extremely happy.! Jeff is a top notch professional picture & sound editor, period. He loves what he does & it shows.. Jeff is also very open to ideas & easy to communicate with. There is no downside at all here to tell anyone. It's all good from me & the cost was less than expected.

Pratt & Whitney Canada needed to cover an airshow event and capture interviews at the same time.
We needed the video footage very fast as we need to use it on our social media channels.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
Sometimes that is a hard question to remember the real answer. I do know that when I was in High School, I was watching a football game and I saw the cameramen on the sidelines and thought, "Now that would be a cool gig". Well, after going to college and studying Radio/TV/Film I couldn't think of doing anything else besides video production.I do shoot some sporting events, but have spent most of my time shooting and editing commercials.
What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common jobs are commercials or business profiles for clients websites, as well as many conferences, seminars and similar events. My clients range from fortune 500 companies to the local startup business.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I think the hardest thing in the beginning is finding someone you can trust. You need someone who has a reputation for providing the services you ask for and in the time frame you ask for. Unfortunately not everyone has the experience and work ethic to get the job done right and on time. Be sure to look at their background and experience and don't be afraid to ask for references.
