Harold Lyle Films did a fantastic job as videographer for my daughter's wedding! He was extremely professional from the moment I first contacted him, and we hardly noticed that he and his partner were present at the wedding as well as the reception. They were able to capture the day beautifully and we are %100 satisfied and over the top pleased with his services! I highly recommend his services to anyone looking for a videographer.

We had an amazing experience with Jodye. She definitely has the eye for what makes a great photo and really tells a story in her photos, which is something I look for. It went incredibly smooth and was completely relaxed the entire time. I have recommended her so many times already and will continue to do so!

She was the perfect person for our elopement wedding me and my husband had. We had talked to other photographer along with her but just the first phone call we had made us feel comfortable having her be there for our big day. She had a great personality and it was fun having to spend the afternoon with her and she always had a variety of poses for us to try, and kept the mood lively. Overall, a professional who does great work but also keeps it fun. I highly recommend Ms. Crawford!

In looking for someone to take newborn photographs, I sorted through many local photographers. Five years later, we're still loving Acorn Studio. Friendly, patient, and wonderful images equal a very happy customer. Everyone comments on how beautiful our living room photos/canvases are and they adore the Christmas cards. No photographer my mother-in-law has found for group photos has come close to matching the skill, talent, and love of the art found in our Acorn Studio images.

Courtney is an outstanding photographer! From the day I scheduled my appointment till the day I received my pictures I was always well informed. Courtney treated my children and myself like family and I would consider her like family. You will defiantly have a wonderful experience and won't be let down by the work that she does. I am and will use her in the near future. It is always nice to know you will have a fun experience and still have something in the end to remember it by. If you haven't scheduled an appointment please do you will not be disappointed.

    About

The explosion of digital photography, online sharing, home printing, and social media over the last decade makes it easier than ever to capture those everyday (and special) moments. We are thrilled that the art of photography has become more accessible to the hobbyist. Often times, our clients have top-of-the-line gear, similar to ours, and are well versed on how to use it, but even with all of the tools and resources so widely available and the ability to capture the every day, nothing beats the work of an accomplished professional photographer to document your family in its entirety. Yes, we know you'll be in some of the images at your cousin's wedding, and of course, there are all your own family milestones, but the return on the investment of capturing who you are, today, is enormous. There is so much to gain from a custom, professional photography session, one that is created specifically for you, solely for that purpose.

    Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

How much does it cost for a photographer for a wedding?

Finding the right wedding photographer can make a big difference for your ceremony. Nationally, the average wedding photographer’s price ranges from $800 to $1,000, but costs can be much higher in areas like Chicago, New York or Los Angeles where some couples spend $2,000 to $5,000 or more for the photographer they want. Factors that can affect your wedding photographer prices include the photographer’s reputation and experience. Heavy hitters can command top rates, especially during wedding-season weekends. Day of the week also affects your cost. You may get a $200 discount on wedding photographer prices if you get married on a Friday in November rather than a Saturday in June. Time onsite is also an important cost factor. Hiring a photographer to snap photos from the moment you wake up until after last call at the reception is going to cost more than five hours of pictures during the day. Multiple photographers, special lighting, and videography will also increase your costs. Ultimately you want to find someone who has a style you love and can provide the number of edited shots you want for a price you can handle. Learn more about hiring a wedding photographer.
