Ms. Callahan goes about and beyond in all she does. She has helped me and my son Landon countless times in school work when we needed an extra hand. She has been a "GREAT SECOND MOM" to my son and has given him the best advice at times. Her attitude is so positive and encouraging. In my opinion she should get "teacher of the year" every year! She is a wonderful example of what true leadership is.

SOCC was a lifesaver. I needed an afterschool tutor when my prior arrangements feel through. I called the director and she was very friendly and helpful. She received a thumbs up from my very opinionated 6 year old. Both my 4 and 8 year old also enjoyed their experience. The 4 year old thought he played video games the whole time but he was actually doing learning games on the tablet and was reinforcing his alphabet. We had a very good experience. The location at the library was convenient as well.

About

Hola! In high school, I took four years of Spanish, after which I graduated from Millsaps College with a B.S. in Spanish. I was president of the Spanish Honorary Society, Sigma Delta Pi for 3 years, and I have studied abroad in Costa Rica. I love helping kids work on their Spanish skills and master the technicalities of the language, such as tenses, sentence structure, pronunciation, and get their writing well-developed, so they can write grammatically correct essays. I have a good bit of resources as well! I'm currently getting my Masters in Biological Medical Sciences, so I'm very busy. However, I'm willing to make time to help! Technically, I charge $20/hour, but prices may be negotiable.
